Posting a number of great races of late, including a big 10mile PB of 58:32, a 42second PB over 5miles and he keeps dropping sub 17 5ks like no tomorrow! #bigthings ![]()

It was a great XC season for Rachel C this winter, finishing with a strong 3rd place in the masters division and helping the team take the top spot! The final race of the season was a mud fest but Rachel put in another fantastic performance, finishing higher than ever before in the Inter-counties XC. Now the focus switches to finding a fast 10K before starting an attack on the summer track season! We can’t wait to see Rachel smashing some PB’s over the shorter distances.

Little bit of snow didn’t stop Lauren from putting the work in. 8x1000m on the menu!

@lydjar – “Every week when I check my track session I think “there’s no way I can do that”, but every week I do. BELIEVE.”

46 parkruns and 3.5 years later, Rachel C put in a brilliant performance to break her longstanding Parkrun PB. It’s not been an easy few years for Rachel after breaking her ankle but since joining us at Running Made Easy a few months ago she has come on leaps and bounds! Clocking 19:35, we have no doubt that she’ll be getting closer to the 19 minute barrier over the summer.

Finally back to full health again, Rachel B managed to get a last minute entry to the Surrey Half. With a longstanding half marathon PB of 1.42.50 – she managed to match it… to the SECOND! After so many disrupted weeks with illness, this was a brilliant performance. We don’t think that PB will be standing for much longer!

Mission complete for Gavin Dunn with a brilliant sub 42min 10k in a cheeky 41:59!! 🏃💥 Incredibly knocking off 30s per mile from his last 10k race and more impressively running his quickest 5k enroute! 🍾

With her sights set on a PB, Lauren headed into Benidorm Half in fantastic shape. But sometimes it’s not always about the time! A tough, hilly course and rainy conditions denied her of a PB race this time around but Lauren put in a brilliant performance to take 2nd place – finishing behind professional New Balance athlete Eli Kirk!

1.27.05 was a brilliant run. Congrats Lauren!
“Intervals done, nice easier session after Sunday 🏃♀️

📸 Warming down afterwards, my coach at my junior running club always told us to cool down in lane 8 running the opposite way round. Old habits die hard.” – @thelongrunback_rachel
