Clare targets summer of 800s!

Clare came away with her fastest time over 10K since 2012 on what was a training run! Followed by some good results over the 800m – it’s time to get back into a training block in order to peak ahead of some big races in July. We can’t wait to see her break some more PB’s along the way!

7 Second 800m PB!

Never one to shy away from a competition. Stuart took to the track for his first ever 5K before switching his focus to the 800m. Taking 7s off his personal best, he clocked a brilliant 2.41. And it’s not just the 800m – Stuart’s been clocking personal bests over 200m too! stuartRME copy

10K PB for Scott!

First up is Scott with a huge personal best over the 10K – clocking 37:30 which takes a whopping 40s off his previous PB. What a way to kick off his first 10K race of the year with a 2nd place overall finish too! Now to put those prizes to good use – a bottle of wine… and a camping chair?!

Valencia Half Marathon

After some injury and illness troubles, Chris G put in a valiant effort over the Valencia Half Marathon! Clocking 1:44:57 it was almost 2 and a half minutes than his Amsterdam race in 2017.

The next big aim is the Great North Run in September where we will be keeping our fingers and toes crossed for some good weather and a PB attempt.

Slowly but surely, I’m getting there. It’s just going to take a bit more time. Getting to that sub 21:56 marker doesn’t seem quite as far away as it used to.”
