“I remember when I first started going for longer runs. Three years ago I went for my longest run post injury. 7 miles seemed like such a long way back then. Even when I trained for my first half marathon, 7 miles felt like an eternity. Now I get out an easy 7 mile run in my lunch break and go back to work meetings as if it was nothing.
Stick at it. Keep pushing. One day it will be easy. It will be effortless.”
