It was a cracking day out for both Jay and Lauren at the Mad Dog 10k. In his first race of the year, Jay took a spot on the podium – coming 3rd out of 2600 runners – and a brand new spanking PB of 35:04.

Not to be out done – Lauren also came away with a HUGE PB of 38:35 to take 4th place.
What a start to 2018 for both!
Lydia came away with a BRILLIANT 3rd place at the Valentines 10K – clocking 41.34.

“Happy birthday me. Starting 28 off right with a 3rd place finish at the Valentines 10K in Chessington ๐๐ฅ Haven’t raced this distance properly in over a year so I was expecting to die at 8K. But I overtook about eight ladies and found myself within striking distance of the podium with 10mins to go, and so I thought “What would Lydia do?”. WHATEVER IT BLOODY TAKES THAT’S WHAT. Nobody remembers who came 4th right?! ๐”
Rachel B has had a tough ride over the winter months with illness but it’s been great to see her on the comeback trail! Missing her PB by only 2 seconds after a disrupted couple of weeks and on a pretty challenging course – The Lee Valley 10K – Rachel clocked a 45:58. ย We can’t wait to see her tackle the Half Marathon next!

Great race from Scott – clocking a 17:38 PB at the Podium 5K. Nearly 30s off his previous 5K! Now the focus switches to the longer distances!
